Basic Details on Setting Up an Atlas Server

This guide will assist you in setting up your Atlas dedicated server with Streamline Servers.

The world of Atlas consists of multiple "grids" of servers. Each server is responsible for a specific region, every region contains multiple islands for you to explore. The default map size with Streamline is 1x1 and you can purchase more to make the map larger.

Server Types

Each Atlas grid is composed of multiple servers. While configuring your Atlas grid you will encounter two server types: Master servers & slave servers.

Master Server

Every Atlas (which is one shared game world) needs exactly one main server. This is the server where you can adjust the settings of the entire grid in one place, instead of accessing every server in the grid manually.

Slave Server

As the name suggests, slave servers connect to your master server and expand your grid with more playable space. By default, expansion servers inherit all settings from their main server (including admin password, harvesting multipliers, and so on). However, you can also override these settings on each expansion server if you want to create areas with different rules.
