How to fix emails getting marked as spam / bad delivery

Within this knowledgebase, you will learn how to fix issues with emails not sending to mailing providers (Gmail, Hotmail etc).

Step 1)

The first step is to diagnose the possible issues that may be occurring when attempting to send mail, to do this, we can use various mail testing platforms that debug the issue. The main one we suggest is Mail Tester. Typically, it will show issues with your DKIM and SPF Records.

Step 2)

The second step, is to log into your cPanel, and ensure both your DKIM and SPF records are correctly set. You can do this by, once logged into your panel, pressing on the “Mail Deliverability” button

Once pressed, you can scroll down and see if your SPF and DKIM records are configured properly, if they are, they should say the following:
