How to record a PCAP on Windows

Within this knowledgebase, you'll learn how to conduct a PCAP Test on your windows machine.

1) Install Wireshark. To do this, simply go to https://www.wireshark.org/#download and install the latest version of WireShark.

2) Once installed, open the application and select your network Adapter, as shown below:

3) Once you've selected your network adapter, the program will automatically begin capturing your network traffic. Let this run for about 60 seconds, before pressing the Red Square up the top to stop the program from running.

4) Once you've stopped the program from running, simply head up to File > Save As. Name the file something familiar, and proceed to upload this file to Google Drive (or another safe file sharing platform) and respond to the ticket with the link to the file.
